Oh yeah! We had a great time webcamming with you all tonight. We just signed off. This will be a monthly event for sure. It’s just too much fun! I did a “live corset binding instructional video” that was a gas! More info to come! I am going to take off this costume and chill.

Hey LaMies! The signing was a blast! I wish I could send you all cookies. Our “tour manager” Miss Kitty came with us and made our day. Lorraine went a little shop crazy at Dark Delicacies. Hey, It’s easy to do. I, myself bought the usual…blank journals for all my witchy stuff.

After the signing, we went home to get ready for the FX party. I made up Lorraine to look like an evil goth fairy. WAIT till you see the photos. Eeeeeeeee! She looked so cute. I just threw on a see through straight jacket dress, a feather boa, and the spider mask Lorraine bought me at Renn. Fest. We danced the night away with the freaks of Hollyweird. Did I mention Eddie Munster was there? Cool Huh? He looks a little older in person that he did on the TV show.

Halloween out here is a Not Mess Around experience!!!! I had SO much fun yesterday at the signing, thank you SO everyone who came down and sent messages!!!!!

( and to our Sexy Librarian , Jody , for calling in the middle of it to tell us how badly she needed to wear white go-go boots and sing back up for us . Jody, if you can find the boots , we will see you on stage at Baltic con!!! )

( Oh, Malena is reading this and says to tell you she has the boots, this concert is getting better all the time! )

I thought I was dressed up for the signing, but, our Malena had some IDEAS about what dressed up really means. The Pics will be up as soon as I can get home and download my camera. I want to look like that EVERY day! I never felt so lovely before in my life, as I did last night as an evil goth fairy creature , uh, Thing!

Hope to chat with people later tonight. I have no idea what I will be, but I know it will be right up there with Malena’s possessed chicken.

I am always the last one to go to sleep..always. Tonight, I finished sewing Lorraine’s shirt. She likes it. We will post pics after Halloween of all the festivities. We painted our nails glow in the dark black. I love halloween. Miles and I live in the “Art Dept. Hills” so everyone decorates for halloween. I put up lights in the fairy garden for the wee ones. I hope they come trick or treating to our house. I want to dress up and give out candy on Monday, of course.

whew! We are coookkkie-d out man! I frosted a lot of cookies today. Miles is at the PB masion tonight for some woo woo event, so it’s just us girls. My bean and Lorraine are asleep, so it’s just me and my two batfrog dogs.

This week has been flying by SO quickly!!!! Malena and I are hanging out with Miss Kitty today , baking cookies for the signing tomorrow and working on costumes for tomorrow night. I am still not sure what I am going to BE , but I know it involves Mistress Mousie’s fairy skirt and some Really Really cool Malena style makeup. She also said I could wear her Ruby SLippers ( not your Dorothy’s ruby slippers folks, these things have HEELS !!!! )

Malena is making me the most wonderful Feathered shirt for me to wear as well. It ought to go nicely with the Feathered dress I bought for HER on Ebay last week. Do we think alike or what????

Last night we went off to see someones Halloween Yard. The line went for blocks and they do Halloween Yard the way we say ” It tends to get chilly in the Midwest in the winter….” Imagine the Haunted Mansion in a yard, these people know how to decorate!!! I will never forget it. May move in with them.

We are still working out how exactly to do this Halloween Webcam. I think if you send us your Yahoo ID I think we can invite you to our conference , and invite you to webcam. I’ll speak to Malena about it, and we will decide on a time and such. Hopefully not to late so our friends in Scotland and such places can come by for a Halloween Hello!

Tomorrow is the signing at Dark Delicacies , our very first signing for our very first cd! My Boss has signed the first 30 or so cd’s , for us as well, I think the store owner may buy us out before the line starts, he is so excited, hee-hee . I myself am going to buy the STORE out, way way cool things!!!!!! All our kind of fun I say, great books, cool spider things, tee-shirts , ye gads, much more and I will have it ALLL!!!!!!!!!!

Dark Delicacies

Yes yes, Lorraine is seeing the fine sites of LA…NOT! Today we ventured out to buy make-up and feather boas. Hey, you can never have too many! Actually, the feathers are for a top I am making Lorraine. We have to match when we have an appearance scheduled you know. So, tonight we will spend our time painting our nails and doing our eyebrows. Which could take a while considering we both have uni-brows growing like king kong.

We also had the pleasure of dropping off the CD’s at Dark Delicacies. Ahhhhh dahhhling! The jewels, the books, the dolls..I was in heaven. Girlie heaven I say! Lorraine and I might spend MORE than we make on CD’s. That store is fabulous. Of course, I have convinced Lorraine to get glam for the signing. She says,

“I never have to worry about being to Oh-la la when I’m with you…because you are always A lota Oh-la la more than me!”

I am thinking of bringing sugar bat cookies with black butter creme frosting. MMMMm. And if that doesn’t get you off your hiney, Lorraine’s boss signed some CD’s just for the DD event. First come, first serve. That means, COME! Come to me darling…I promise not to bite you….

I’m out here safe and sound and happy in LA now with Malena! This, is a Very Good Thing. Many thanks to Jody, our Sexy Librarian for the Very early morning drive to the airport yesterday ( and for listening to a fair amount of whinning about Boy Bands and Bars ) It was beyond wonderful to get off the plane and hand Malena the cd! ( I think she likes it )

I have it in my mind and plan to write of all our adventures out here this week, but this first installment may start off a little slow. I have been beyond busy and am very short of sleep , so we are more or less easing into things.

Last night we took off to buy a few Food Type things with the cd on Malenas Really Really cool car stereo and after we got out of the store, we sat for half of it in the parking lot listening and talking, until I started to laugh saying THIS is what I get to Blog about??? This is as far as we get in LA??? No Sunset Blvd, no Ocean Drive, no Mountain Vista?? Malena , says I , we are sitting in the grocery store parking lot!!!!

SO we did some driving, up a Hill and looked at lights and listened to our cd and were as happy as two girls with a brand new cd can be.

Today was more groceries and a LOT of lovely sleep. The cobwebs may be starting to unfold from my brain…..

More excited as things unfold, from here in the west…..

If you have ordered a cd, it is now on it’s way to you! ( you , too, Mistress Mousey, remember , you sent us Fairy Skirts! ) It has been quite a morning here. Got up early and packed up all the little guys, with a complete case of Zombie Gig Head, and off I went to town and the post office.

Seems it’s Homecoming Day here. Far as I can tell that means roads are closed and hundreds of people walk across the street Really Sloooowwly. Not to worry, thinks I, I have nearly half an hour until it closes.

Forgot wallet. Back to the country. Get wallet. Get to post office. Four minutes before it closes on a Saturday.

With several hundred cd’s .

NOW I am popular. The only thing to do in that situation is to get REALLY entertaining really quickly. ( I have a new hit song called ” Jean is the coolest Postperson ever! ” )

But all’s well that ends well, thank the gods I live in a small town..

And thanks to everyone who came down to the club last night for a CD! It was lovely seeing you, and in some cases meeting you. I have to say tho, it is not my favorite place to play. Nice bar and nice people, but the way it is laid out, people can’t really see and interact with the band, except for a table or two, so we are kind of background music, and I really like the talk and banter that goes on in a more intimate setting.

I will say this for them, they had the ever present big TV, but instead of a Sport on, they had the Travel Channel, so I got to watch some shows which I imagine were called ” Haunted Houses and the Things That Haunt Them ” and ” Graveyards of the World and Things We Have Dug Up In Them ” and ” Really Weird Fish ”

Hopefully tonight will be the same. Or some of you will be at that front couple of tables, and we can exchange witty banter on, Irish Music, Haunted Houses and the best beer to fill up your glass with.

I’ll be there all night, and early, very early, tomorrow, I’m off to take some cd’s to our Malena. I hope she likes them.

Yeah! Miss Fabulous just picked up the CD’s. Of course, we were on the phone screaming as they loaded them into the truck. Lorraine will be gigging tonight as usual. Lots of people will be partying without me this evening! Ohhh what’s a dark Diva to do? I will be getting our stuff ready for the signing at Dark Delicacies. We have lots of surprises and fun stuff planned so stop by if you are in LA. And of course, WE will be dressed up in the Halloween spirit and extend the invitation to you! So put on your bat wings and flap on over! The first 30 people will receive a very special treat….VERY SPECIAL! More details soon!!

Just heard from Noiseland and it seems the cd is in Packaging right now. They say I will be able to pick them up before my gig tonight but they are not sure what time, so I may not be able to get them to Dreamhaven today, but I will run some over tomorrow for sure, before my show tomorrow night, so they will be there by the end of day Saturday.

I , fingers crossed and all going well, will have them at the show tonight!

And of course, if you have ordered them , they will be going out in the mail Saturday morning.
